After over ten years of building her career as a dental hygienist, Alex was experiencing the burnout of the demanding profession and knew she needed a change. She was ready for a career that truly ignited her passion. Her love for surfing, the endless summers in Hawai'i, and living in her favorite bikinis inspired her to finally pursue her lifelong dream of working in fashion.
Despite having no formal background in business or fashion, she made the bold decision to enroll in an online course to learn the fundamentals of building a fashion business from the ground up. This was her starting point, laying the foundation for Leitly and the next chapter of her life.
From that pivotal moment, Leitly was born—a brand built on her commitment to ethical practices, sustainability, and fostering a community through fashion and surfing.
